Farmer’s market
October 10, 2019 my teacher took the whole class to the Farmer's market. We went to our college HWC until the place. Along the way we could talk with each of our classmates, and we enjoyed the moment going to the Farmer's market. The Farmer market was located in Daley Plaza. When we got there, the teacher gave us the introductions and we went to look in each stand. There were many things such as vegetables, foods, and organic soaps. At the beginning Farmers market I went to the stand of vegetables. There was a stand called Smith’s farm and they were family business. I could see many vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, potatoes, radishes, and onions. The farmers market was located outside of Chicago for that reason they only came to Chicago on Tuesday and Thursdays. Secondly, there were many food stalls. I could see one of the many food stalls called Raclette. It was a food stall of large sandwiches that had a lot of cheese. You could see many cheeses like an exhibition because the cheese was outside so people could see it. Also, I could ask people why they like this kind of cheese and they said because it is one of the best sandwiches in Chicago. Finally, there were so many interesting things such as soaps, and candles. The soaps were made of organic materials without any plastic. You could also smell some of them that has cinnamon, vanilla, and hazelnut. When I walked until the beginning of the farmers market, I could see candles made of honey. It was one of the most interesting things I could see. I could see man shapes of candles. In conclusion, Going to the farmer's market I could see many interesting things that I did not know such as candles of honey. I hope to go next year.
